A morning in Thekkady

I had taken this picture on a beautiful morning while going on a holiday towards Thekkady. The sun was about to rise and was behind a hill. Some clouds were there on top of the hill and they were shining as if someone has put a gold polish on them.
I was new with my camera and didn't knew how to adjust it properly and hence the foreground was pretty dark but the scene was so beautiful that irrespective of how novice you are, you cannot ruin it.
Well, some of the benefits of waking up early in the morning.

This was another one where I woke up early the very next day. Thanks to the punctual friends of mine, who turned up one hour late with me left with nothing to do except spend time with my cam and the flora thr. I would say there were some really great pics but this one had some really rich colors.

We went to the Thekkady lake for watching the wildlife. After a couple of hours of ooohhs and aaahs and lots of praises of how beautiful the wildlife was in Thekkady, we managed to make the nature jealous of it. It was then, that the nature decided to prove that the most beautiful things on this planet not necessarily walk on four legs. Suddenly, a dark cloud came and settled over the lake making the afternoon look like twilight. the cloud was high enough to show the daylight on the horizon between the hills. Any photo, how good it may be cannot explain the beauty of the scene.
